3rd April 2004 Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park, Ynyslas Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 16-20 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 8ºC Sea Temperature: 9ºC Weather: Showers Max Speed: Distance Covered: The wind was a little marginal at first, but I was able to keep my ground upwind OK. Spencer and Impi were out as well and we had a decent sail in decent conditions. The wind then picked up until I was maxed out on my 6.3m and thinking of changing down. I just put some more outhaul on my sail to flatten it off though which was a good thing as the wind actually dropped off a little again. Steve came out too and Kirk and we all had a really good session. The water was really messed up, with lumps all over the place, but every now and then it was possible to catch a decent sized wave right out the back and ride it in all the way to the beach. There was also some good ramps for jumping.... Nice!!! There really isn't much life left in that board now though! |
